Volumetric ponytail with braided elements: how to repeat it?

1. Photo of the model before styling.

2. Preparation. We perform fine corrugation and light curling with an iron. First apply a heat protectant.

3. Divisions. Separate the frontal zone. On the temporo-occipital we knit tail 1, on the mid-occipital we knit tail 2, the tail on the infero-occipital is slightly shifted.

4. We style the hair in the parietal area. Use bobby pins to pin up the upper ponytail and stretch the light, airy strands upward.

5. We also pin the hair in the temporal-lateral zones to the upper ponytail and expose textured ribs. We fix the laid strands with KEUNE medium hold varnish.

6. In small strands using elastic bands, we lay out the tails alternately to the right and to the left according to the shape of the mohawk. We control the texture, straighten the ribs, slightly tearing them off from the main part, achieving clearance.

7. We continue to create the shape of the hairstyle by braiding two strands with elastic bands.
