Elegant hairstyle for long hair: step-by-step technology

1. Before styling the model’s hair, thoroughly wash it with shampoo with a slightly acidic pH to make the curls shiny. It is better to use conditioner based on nourishing oils or with vitamin supplements to make your hair look as well-groomed as possible. We dry our hair with a hairdryer, first using heat protection and any hair oil.

2. We curl the hair using a cone curling iron. We twist the strands away from the face, moving in vertical partings about 2 cm wide from the face to the back of the head. To fix moving curls, we use structural hair mousse.

3. We select a segment up to 5–6 cm wide along the parietal zone in the center of the head. We perform root blunting at the base of the strands. For a more expressive volume, the root part of the strands can be slightly fixed with styling powder.

4. We collect the hair of the temporal and occipital zones in a concentration (tail) with slight asymmetry to one side in the lower occipital zone. We fix the roller at the base of the tail, having previously selected it to match the color of the model’s hair. For better fixation, you can use ribbed invisible ones. We carefully distribute them at the base of the roller crosswise. We select 4–5 strands from the tail hair, and weave on each of them. We collect braids into a hairstyle.

5. We carefully fix the ends of each strand of the braid at the base of the roller and form the silhouette of the hairstyle, focusing on the shape of the face and head. Along the parietal zone we also perform weaving on strands at the base of which basal blunting was previously performed.

6. The created hairstyle silhouette can be fixed with strong hold varnish. It also doesn’t hurt to spray your hair with gloss a few times.
