Anyone can draw liparts. It will be difficult for some to create a drawing or perform small details, but absolutely every makeup artist can do shading and work with textures.

Ombre lips

For a beautiful ombre it is easier to use matte shadows. Long-lasting tints are much more difficult to blend due to the drying speed.

You must remember the sequence of colors in the rainbow - ombre does not tolerate mistakes. Only neighboring colors on the color wheel will make the shading truly perfect.

To achieve a glossy effect, you cannot skimp on lip gloss. I apply a large amount of transparent gloss on top of the chic ombre with the back of the brush: this allows you not to spoil the previously done work and get super gloss.

It's important to photograph glossy lips quickly. I would even say instantly, otherwise at midnight the carriage will turn into a pumpkin, unless you are driven by the desire to photograph a beautiful drop. I do this in the smartphone's "Burst" mode. One of the frames in the series will freeze the drop perfectly, but sometimes you have to make a dozen such series. Every lip artist is a perfectionist, so skin treatment is of great importance. Every little hair, pore and wrinkle is visible in macro photography.

Lipart with glitter

Apply glitter to your lips using a sticky base. For photos you can use matte lipstick, for long-term use - transparent glue for eyelashes.

Finally, apply clear glitter, and for a beautiful drop, mix glitter with the same glitter.

Animal motifs

When I do a lip art for a photo with nails in the frame, I have to mix lipsticks to get the right shade.

You can try to do the job with face painting, but it will emphasize the texture of the lips. If there is dryness, face painting will make it more noticeable. That's why I like to use acrylic felt-tip eyeliners for clear lines. They are waterproof and allow you to create fine designs. The most difficult thing in lipart is the clarity of the lines. It is necessary to fix your hand on the model’s chin and almost not breathe.

As in any other business, practice is the path to perfection. Experiment with textures, complex patterns, and applications. Don’t hold back your imagination – it will bring pleasure to you and your subscribers. But first of all, your creativity should make you happy!
