Janine Lobell is known to many as a makeup artist and founder of the Stila brand. However, a pleasant surprise awaits us in the new year - a new brand from a makeup artist with a very creative concept called Neen.

Jeanine Lobell founded Stila in 1994, drawing inspiration from the runways and dressing rooms of Hollywood stars. The makeup artist created the first line of products for her clients - actresses and models, but soon girls all over the world fell in love with the brand for its natural shades, excellent quality of products and comfortable textures. After some time, Janine sold the company to the Estée Lauder conglomerate and many years later decided to return to her roots and re-launch her own makeup brand.

The new brand will be called Neen, and its assortment will include all the cosmetic products every professional needs - eye shadow, blush, lip gloss and lipstick, highlighters and others. The products will be sold both in full-size format and as testers by subscription. What does it mean?

Once a month, for $12, all brand subscribers will receive a postcard featuring five models with different skin tones, but wearing the same makeup in the same color. The card will also contain five products, each of which has two or more uses. If you would like to purchase any of the products in full size, they can be ordered for $20.

“Having worked at fashion weeks for a long time, where I had to do the same makeup looks for all skin tones, I know how to create colors that suit everyone. I always work from the darkest skin tone to the lightest - and it’s better for everyone,” explained Janine Lobell.

Moreover, a QR code will be placed on the card, following which users will be taken to the Neen application, where they will be able to view a master class on this makeup. The image can be zoomed in to see all the details of makeup and full-size products that were used on a particular area of the face. A video control function using voice will also be available.

New items will be sold in reusable silicone packaging, as this material is more environmentally friendly than, for example, plastic. Moreover, after use, the packaging can be washed and sent back to the brand. By agreement with one of the factories, all used packaging will be recycled into rugs for children's recreation areas.

In our opinion, the concept is very interesting and in line with the latest trends in inclusivity and concern for the environment, and there is no doubt about the quality of the products. What do you think?
