Neat styling in the WONDERLAND collection
By Idy Duong
The collection is inspired by images from fashion magazines in black and white. Incredibly light and stylish images designed to be published on the pages of a printed publication.
To create this collection, Idy Duong was inspired by the latest fashion magazines, because she always dreamed of playing a role in creating images.
In the digital age, print magazines are under threat, and there's something wonderful about the nostalgia of flipping through the pages of a publication and looking at all those images that you could spend hours poring over and storing in a stack of magazines on a bookshelf or coffee table.
Wonderland combines a strong editorial structure with clean, beautiful imagery and subtly stylized hairstyles. Although they are wearable, they are still not devoid of fashion.
All images in the collection are in black and white, with hairstyles taking center stage. Attention was paid to the play of light and shine on the hair to tie all the images together. Makeup is kept minimal and fresh, allowing the model's individual beauty to shine through.
