A tribute to punk style in the MISSFits collection
Incredible style!
This collection became the winner in the Newcomer of the Year category of one well-known professional competition, Australian Hair Fashion Awards 2020.
This collection reflects who its creator, Christopher Byrne, is. Not only a fashion-obsessed hairdresser, but also a human being. As Christopher comments, “It's a celebration of everything I've been through and letting go of the fear of myself. I am now confident in using my inner voice in an industry that has opened my eyes to many things and changed my life. MISSFits are a tribute to colleagues, friends and family.”
All hair images are dedicated to the original punk style. Those who followed this style always shocked others and were not afraid to experiment. Each look lives up to these expectations, challenging style conventions. The proportions are exaggerated with incredible heights, shapes and a strong take on the iconic mohawk.
A new take on the classic mullet style through the use of sections and additional textures. The tight bob is given a layered finish and a new direction. The shine contrasts with raw tips and organic finishes.
Bright colors predominate in the color scheme. Citrus shades, matching prints and textures for added contrast: denim, leather, PVC, snakeskin - all in the mix.
