Makeup trends for 2020: a word from an expert

We are already taking on board the brightestmakeup trends of 2020 – they are the ones that will inspire us over the next 12 months. What shades, textures and effects to prefer – says makeup artist and makeup artist Alexandra Bublienko.

The new year 2020 will begin soon and what will be trending? What makeup, what tricks?

To begin with, I would like to note that any makeup looks good on well-groomed skin, so first of all, try to pay attention to care products - choose those that suit your skin type and correspond to the time of year. It is very important to properly care for the skin of your lips, use moisturizing masks and balms, especially in windy and frosty weather. Agree that any lipstick or gloss looks good on healthy lips, not on chapped ones, not to mention discomfort.

The first task of makeup is to highlight the advantages and hide the flaws, if any. Whatever makeup you choose (natural, evening, wedding or business), in general it should look light and not be vulgar. Silicone and tattooing are a thing of the past. Of course, let's not exclude the frantic rhythm of megacities and throw a light concealer into our cosmetic bag to hide dark circles under the eyes, and a highlighter for refreshing accents. Don't forget about unobtrusive blush, which also wonderfully refreshes the face.

Eyes and lips

Use natural colors that suit the season. And, of course, consider how the image as a whole will look.

A couple of bright pencils in a turquoise shade, sea green or gold will also not hurt in 2020 - with their help you can always make an image more juicy and impressive.

Whatever products you use - matte, glossy, satin or combinations thereof - remember: organic is in fashion!

Listen to yourself and wear the makeup you feel comfortable in! At the same time, don’t be afraid to change! Try a new eyeliner shape or neon shadow - you might discover a new you!
