What cosmetic (and other) products are needed to create liparts?

There are no restrictions for creating liparts - the boundaries are only in our heads. I used eye shadow, lipstick, and eyeliner, as well as sugar, honey and eyelash glue.

What tools are needed?

I paint liparts with brushes, usually very small ones. These can be brushes for lip makeup, eye makeup, or very tiny ones from an art store. To lay out stones you will have to get tweezers and patience.

What decorative elements can be used?

As decoration, use whatever your heart desires: from any non-poisonous plants and berries to shells and live beetles, if you don’t have phobias.

Where should you start? How to prepare your lips before makeup?

Before work, if possible, use a scrub - it will make the surface of your lips smoother. Then be sure to moisturize them with balm or oil, since it is much more difficult to draw on dry lips.

How to create lip paintings step by step?

How to draw on lips? Just like on any other surface, only all objects are much smaller. Shadows, highlights and volumes are arranged according to the same laws, but the canvas is not flat, but a little more voluminous.

What features and nuances should be taken into account when creating a lipart?

For an ideal lipart, you need to choose the right model. A girl should have lush lips, better gathered towards the center than stretched out at the edges. To create the perfect drop, you need a hole under the model's lower lip - then the product will not flow down the chin.

How to learn to draw liparts? Where should a beginner start?

First, learn to draw ideal clear contours, then smaller details will become easy to do. Do not forget to fix your hand on the model’s chin or on yours (if you are drawing on yourself).

Which liparts are easiest to draw and which ones are the most difficult?

The easiest way to draw landscapes or asymmetrical patterns of bases of straight lines on the lips. Symmetry and parallels are always more difficult.

Are there trends in lipart?

I don’t think there are trends in lipart: we create them ourselves. Creativity has no limits!

Create! The more you draw, the more perfect your lipparts become!
