On a note!

Bronzer is an indispensable product in the spring-summer season, without which it is difficult to imagine a makeup artist’s beauty arsenal. Why do you need bronzer, how does it differ from other similar products and how to apply this cosmetic product correctly, read in our material.
What is bronzer for?
Bronzers and highlighters, correctors, shimmers, tanning powders are completely different makeup products, each of which has its own function and features. Bronzer is a darkening product that gives the skin a beautiful golden tan effect, freshness and radiance. As a rule, bronzers have a reddish-brown undertone, as this shade corresponds to the color of a tan. Most often, bronzers contain reflective particles that provide a subtle glow, but matte options also exist in the assortment of different cosmetic brands. Bronzer is not intended for face contouring or powdering, so it should not be confused with darkening correctors or tanning powders. The difference between bronzer and highlighter is also obvious. Highlighter is a brightening product that gives the skin a pearly glow, while bronzer is a darkening product, although it can also contain glitter particles.Top 5 rules for choosing and applying bronzer

Bronzers are like a rare spice in cooking. When used correctly, it can add some spice to your dish, but overdo it a little and the dinner is irrevocably ruined. The main rule when using bronzer is a sense of proportion, the rest is nuances. So, the main points to consider when choosing and applying this product:- When choosing a bronzer, try to choose a shade at most two shades darker than the client’s skin, otherwise it will be almost impossible to hide the transition.
- If you prefer facial bronzers with shimmery particles, choose products with very fine glitter and be careful with them when creating daytime makeup.
- Never use bronzer for cheekbone correction. Bronzer is a product that gives the skin a tanning effect, not a slimming effect. If you apply it to your nose or cheekbones, you will only get orange spots on your face. So how to apply bronzer correctly? Bronzer should be applied after sculpting the face on the outer contour to give a warm shade and tanning effect. Always leave the central part of your face light.
- The neck is always lighter than the body and face, so using bronzer can highlight this difference. To avoid accidentally creating the effect of Professor Dowell's head, be sure to slightly darken the outer sides of the neck and the border with the face.
- Don't ignore liquid bronzers for the body. We're not talking about creepy orange self-tanners. Just a couple of drops of body bronzer in the right shade will create the effect of liquid tights, and a soft golden sheen will add sexiness to the skin.
How to choose a bronzer brush?
There is a special brush for bronzer. It is something between a powder brush and a blush brush. If you don’t already have such a tool in your makeup artist’s case , feel free to pick up a powder or blush brush - they will do the job just as well. When using dry bronzers, make sure that the brush is made of natural bristles, is soft and not too elastic and dense, otherwise there is a chance of causing spots on the skin.Read also
