How to correct the shape of your lips with makeup?

Thin lips

If your lips are thin, you can use a contour pencil. We draw a thin line, slightly beyond the natural contour of the lips, shade, apply hygienic or regular lipstick (depending on your goals), and gloss on top, over the entire surface of the lips. As a result, lips look more expressive. Hygienic lipstick is needed so that the gloss does not dry out the lips.

It is also possible to achieve the effect of fuller lips using powder. To do this, it is enough to dust the upper edge of the lip with light pearlescent powder or completely cover the lips with powder and apply gloss on top.

Small lips

If the lips are small, then, in addition to enlarging them along the contour, you can adjust their size with color. In this case, the ombre technique is perfect, when the corners of the lips are darkened and lighter shades are used in the center.

Plump lips

If your lips are plump, you can darken the inside of your lips with darker lipstick. Apply glitter in the middle. If the lipstick is dry, sometimes a little gloss is applied on top of it to give the lips a dewy effect.

Aging lips

For older women, we recommend using warm shades of lipsticks or glosses: they help neutralize the unpleasant bluish tint that sometimes appears on women. For a cold color type, accordingly, choose cool shades of lipstick.

Expressive lips

If your lips aren't naturally expressive enough, sometimes it's better to emphasize your eyes by choosing lipstick or gloss in neutral shades.

Asymmetrical lips

If there is obvious asymmetry of the lips, you need to disguise the natural contour with foundation and draw a symmetrical one with a pencil.
