The world's reaction to Russia's war against Ukraine resulted in harsh sanctions. During the 12 days of the war, dozens of largest companies left the Russian market, and this is only the beginning. The beauty and fashion industry also does not stand aside and tries to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in various ways.

Hairdressing brands are mostly in no hurry to leave the Russian market, moreover, they refrain from expressing any position of their companies.

However, there are a number of those who support Ukraine in different ways: some completely refuse to cooperate with the occupying country, and some financially help the Ukrainian people.

The French company L'Oreal announced assistance to refugees from Ukraine. The company's management is implementing a humanitarian action plan with local and international non-governmental organizations to support refugees who have fled Ukraine.

The brand has donated $1.1 million through the L'Oréal Women's Fund and will also be delivering hygiene products to refugees, with plans to donate 300,000 products in the coming weeks. Rafael Canton. However, the company continues to operate in the Russian market.

Global giant Kering , which owns brands such as Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent, announced that it will make “significant donations” to support Ukrainians: “To contribute to the humanitarian efforts to provide assistance and support to Ukrainian refugees, Kering will make significant donations to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency,” the company announced on Instagram.
