We already talked about white eyeliner at the Dior show, which promises to become an old-new trend for 2022. There was so much buzz about makeup at the last Chanel show that we certainly couldn’t ignore it. Pat McGrath created dramatic glitter streaks under the eyes of one model at the Schiaparelli show. We suspect that this decision will provoke another wave of popularity of trendy makeup, which we will see more than once at parties and festivals in 2022.

We have said more than once that rhinestones can and should be placed not only on the eyelids or lips, but all over the face. Makeup artists at the Fendi show clearly demonstrated how to do this most elegantly. The rest of the beauty look consisted of “bare” eyes and lips, making the makeup as a whole very airy and elegant.

Jean Paul Gaultier

Red shadow on the eyelids is a provocative solution that was very appropriate at the Jean Paul Gaultier show at Haute Couture Fashion Week. Makeup artist Inge Grognard decorated not only the moving eyelid with scarlet, but also drew luxurious fiery arrows, decorating the outer corners of the eyes with them.
