What forms of haircuts and coloring are popular among clients in the age range from 50? A permanent haircut expert told us about this and more, based on his own experience working with clients.

First of all, I would like to say that for any female client there is no concept of “age”! Especially in our time, when there are many opportunities to look great without looking at your passport! The same applies to requests for haircuts or coloring that clients come with.

However, the question about hairstyles and haircuts for women “+” is asked quite often. I tend to support the famous saying that “the older a French woman, the shorter her hair,” but that doesn’t mean it’s a law.

Based on my own experience, I can say that most of my “age” clients still choose a short haircut. Although there are those who are defined as having an average length. There is probably no very long hair (for example, below the shoulder blades).

In terms of choosing haircuts for medium length, it is easier. It's either a bob or a cascade. Relevant and suitable for most. But don’t forget about the individual approach!

I select short haircuts based on the wishes of the client and my ability to model a haircut. Although there are not many classic haircut forms, their combination gives the professional endless possibilities!

There are no special features in cutting “aging” hair; rather, there are peculiarities in coloring, since, unfortunately, with age the amount of gray hair increases. But for a professional hairdresser this is not a problem!

The current trend for gray hair is now

Indeed, now there is a fairly popular trend - leaving gray hair, and at least two of my friends decided to do it! There is one “but” – the gray hair must be 100%! Gray hair can be naturally silvery, pure white or with a slight yellow tint. In the first two cases, as a rule, nothing needs to be done. Just grow your gray hair and take care of it. If there is still a slight yellow tint, then you can (and should) tint your hair.
