What inspired you to create your entry for the Hairworld 2020 CHI World Championships?

When choosing makeup, I always take into account, first of all, the person, his natural characteristics. I was inspired to create the competition entry by my model Nastya. Her natural beauty and personality helped to imagine what a bride's makeup should look like at the World Cup. Therefore, by using current color solutions and focusing on emphasizing natural lines, we got this result.

What characteristic features, in your opinion, distinguish modern wedding makeup from outdated ones?

The most characteristic features include an emphasis on naturalness and strobing; preference is given to light textures and “live” skin.

What else should you pay attention to when doing facial makeup?

First of all, to prepare the skin, because the quality of application and durability of further products depends on this stage.

Eye makeup. What shades can I use? What elements should you focus on in 2021?

This year, as always, wedding eye makeup should be done depending on the appearance and wishes of the bride, so you can use from translucent shadows or a light shaded arrow to more intense makeup with classic clear eyeliner, a darkened outer corner of the eye and a shining pigment in the center century.

It is worth noting that the current color solutions in 2021 are pink shining shadows and a brown-beige palette. Also, don't forget about the eyebrows. In keeping with today's trends, neatly styled, slightly accentuated eyebrows will look the best on a bridal look.

How to perform long-lasting lip makeup for wedding makeup? Which products should you pay special attention to?

In order for the bride to feel comfortable and not worry about lipstick, it is necessary to first nourish and moisturize her lips, after which it is better to remove the remaining balm. Next, outline the outline with a lip pencil, and then apply lipstick.

From experience, I can say that the most long-lasting lipstick tints are Inglot HD LIP TINT MATTE, as well as products from the Cailyn brand.

How to fix your makeup so that it lasts in excellent condition all day?

For the longevity of all makeup, as I mentioned above, it is necessary, first of all, to properly prepare the skin. And then apply suitable primers, long-lasting/waterproof foundation (depending on skin type: dense, medium or even light) and fix them with transparent powder and fixative spray.
