Shockwave therapy: features of the anti-cellulite technique
Acoustic mechanical waves in the fight against cellulite

The cause of cellulite of all stages is the degradation of vertical collagen fibers of the connective tissue of the subcutaneous layers. This explains why this problem is mainly suffered by women. After all, genetically arranged, collagen fibers in men do not have a vertical, but a cross-shaped structure, so their degradation does not lead to the formation of nodules and depressions.
All cellular structures of the body, including collagen tissue, have a certain lifespan and are periodically restored due to newly formed structures. Unfortunately, due to age factors or individual characteristics of the body, this process is not inherent in some types of cells and tissues that undergo degeneration and destruction.
Restoration of the structure of cells and tissues is an extremely energy-intensive process that requires the presence of stimulating factors. Most processes in the body occur according to the basic principle: a chain of causes and effects. This rule applies to all processes with an active reaction system, and everything living in our body is, of course, a reaction system with an extremely wide range of changes and compensatory capabilities.
In this way, we can counteract the degradation of cellular structures while they are still responding to external pressure. The reaction can be controlled by external pressure.
The principle of action of one of the methods of combating cellulite is also based on the cause-and-effect relationship described above.
