In the modern world, rosacea is a pathology that often occurs, and in the structure of dermatological diagnoses, it is, according to various authors, from 5-10 to 20%.
The basis of the pathogenesis is a change in the tone of the surface vessels of the skin of the face, due to internal and external causes, which lead to persistent expansion of the vessels and, in the future, to blood stasis.
Rosacea is diagnosed based on primary and secondary symptoms. Primary signs include erythema, papules, pustules, telangiectasias, which occur or are permanent. Secondary ones include a burning sensation, especially in the zygomatic area, itching, peeling of the skin, swelling.
