Risk factors: what affects the aging of the skin of the neck and décolletage
Physiological features of the skin of the decollete area
The décolletage zone begins to age one of the first. The experts came to the conclusion that the real age of a woman is easiest to determine not by the condition of her hands and neck, but by what her cleavage looks like.
The skin on the neck is very delicate and the least protected, and the support of the subcutaneous muscle is especially important for it. Neck muscles, unlike facial facial muscles, are not attached to the skin. With age, the neck muscles weaken and stop keeping the skin taut. The balanced tone of the mentioned muscles plays an important role in the formation of its elegant, smooth appearance, affects the condition of the skin and the elasticity of the breast.
In addition, sebum production is complicated in the neck area - this causes dryness, flabbiness, and premature aging of the skin. There is almost no fatty tissue under the skin of the neck. And even the slightest excess of it is distributed here unevenly, forming a "second chin".
