Cosmetologists encounter warts more often than others. Almost every client who visits a cosmetologist has warts, or had them before, or their relatives, friends and acquaintances have them.
The development of various types of warts, despite the diversity of their localization, size, shape, is involved in the human papillomavirus (HPV). Infections provoked by HPV are highly specific for the epidermis, especially for the extremities, palms and soles, and mucous membranes. More than 100 types of HPV are distinguished, each of which causes a specific clinical manifestation of the disease.
The clinical picture of the manifestations of papillomavirus infection on the skin is diverse, and patients who seek help from cosmetologists are presented with various skin manifestations.
