The study convincingly demonstrates that UV exposure is a global public health problem, given the tendency to spend time in the sun during leisure time.

The sun undoubtedly plays an important role in our lives, it has a beneficial effect on physical and psychological well-being, lifts our mood, and promotes the production of vitamin D in the body. But a few minutes a day is enough to enjoy its benefits.

In addition to the risk of cancer, the sun can cause serious eye diseases (cataracts, retinal diseases) and premature skin aging. Another consequence of excessive ultraviolet radiation is the weakening of the human body's immune system.

There are three types of UV rays – UVA, UVB, and UVC, which differ in intensity, wavelength, and ability to penetrate the skin to different depths.
