How to sell a cosmetology service to a man
Important points and theses regarding the involvement of men in cosmetology
Representatives of the strong half of humanity are increasingly turning to beauty industry establishments. Cosmetology ceases to be the fate of only women, and men gradually stop being shy to come for help in the fight against wrinkles and signs of sluggish skin.
In our country, the niche of men's businesses in the beauty industry is not occupied at all.
As a rule, the thematic orientation of the salon with a standard list of services (hairdressing, manicure, pedicure, solarium, massage) is widespread - that is, for everyone. Although in Ukraine, in recent years, the owners of "beautiful business" have increasingly started to turn to the topic of "men's" salons. This happens, firstly, because the competition in the beauty market is increasing every day, and secondly, our men want something more than just another new standard beauty salon.
According to statistics, men now quite often visit beauty salons, but prefer image procedures such as hairdressing services, manicures, pedicures, massages, and solariums. This is an established list of services to which a man is ready to agree, having overcome his shame and conservatism. Cosmetology is not in the first ranks on this list. And, despite the fact that men's beauty salons still exist in the minority, there is a clear need for such enterprises in Ukraine.
