The desire to become younger and more beautiful has accompanied humanity since ancient times. In different eras, fashionistas solved the problems of aging in different ways: they used makeup products, ointments, "magic pills", which often caused more harm than good. The development of technology and knowledge in the structure of the human body led to the creation of new techniques, one of which is contour plastic surgery using dermal fillers.

For several decades now, contouring has remained a leading method in the arsenal of rejuvenation methods, while manufacturers are constantly improving the formulations of injectable fillers, so we will talk about their evolution today.

In the second half of the last century, a big step towards rejuvenation was taken – injection techniques for contouring were discovered. Initially, various liquid artificial polymers (silicone, polyacrylamide gel) were used to perform volumetric contouring.

Further research by scientists led to the appearance on the market of preparations based on animal collagens. The prerequisites for the emergence of this class of preparations are obvious, because collagen is the main component of the skin, therefore, it would seem, it can best neutralize its defects and restore its former youth.
