Training for masters of PM: varying the intensity of hatching
Sharpening the technical skills of permanent makeup masters
In one of the previous exercises, we learned how to thin out the stroke and feather it from dark to transparent. In this exercise, we will consolidate the acquired skills.
We continue to work out the stroke on paper in permanent makeup ”and we offer an exercise for training in which you will learn how to thicken the stroke, achieving bright colors, and then gradually reduce the intensity of the hatching when creating light tones.
In the previous exercise, we learned how to thin out the stroke and feather it from dark to transparent. In this exercise, we will consolidate the acquired skills.
Exercise 9: Varying the Hatch Intensity
The task is similar to the previous one, but here we will learn how to move from a dark color to a light one, and vice versa.
We also start work in this exercise with a straight parallel stroke 2.5-3 cm long, put the strokes tightly. If you completed the previous task, then this exercise will not be difficult for you.
We pass a block 1.5-2 cm wide. Again, we draw your attention to the fact that color saturation is achieved not by excessive pressure on the pencil, but is regulated by the density of the stroke. After all, if pressure on a pencil is not terrible on paper, then pressure on the skin will lead to irreparable consequences - to spots, deepening, or even excessive trauma and scarring.
As in the previous exercise, we move in blocks, gradually either thinning or compacting the strokes. In this exercise, you can make more contrast between blocks. There should be no spaces between strokes. After the light block, we compact the strokes again, giving saturation to the color.
Hatching options (conditionally, by 2 mm): 1 block - 100 strokes, 2 block - 60 strokes, 3 block - 80 strokes, 4 block - 50 strokes.
An important principle is to move from dark to light and vice versa.
It is necessary to make at least 20 stripes, alternating color saturation with stroke density. If it is easy to do the task with a pencil, you can take a pen. When working with ink, you will see your mistakes right away. By the way, this applies to any exercise.
