Ukrainian media report that an article about rashism has appeared in the Ukrainian Wikipedia, which is defined as the political ideology of the regime of the Russian Federation.
It explains the origin of the term, the history of its occurrence, the main features, features, components and functions, as well as ideology. The symbolism of rashism and their carriers - rashists is considered.
Wikipedia defines rashism as “a political ideology and social practice of the ruling regime of Russia at the end of the 20th and beginning of the 21st century, based on the ideas of a “special civilizational mission” for Russians, “the seniority of a fraternal people”, and intolerance towards elements of the culture of other peoples.”
The term comes from a combination of the words Russia and fascismo - Russia and fascism. According to the compilers, it is a kind of totalitarian, fascist ideology, a combination of the basic principles of fascism and Stalinism.
“It is the rationale for the barbaric geopolitics of the Russian Federation, aimed at the occupation and annexation of the territories of other states, is often marked with the stamp of “gathering Russian lands” and relies on local collaborationism and support for the Russian fifth column,” Wikipedia says.
This term has recently been used not only in Ukraine, but also in different European countries. The article has already been translated into 26 languages, including English, Polish, Spanish, Turkish, Hebrew. However, there is no Russian version of this article.
It is also specified that “On April 14, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recognized the Russian Federation as a terrorist state with a totalitarian neo-Nazi regime and banned its propaganda, as well as propaganda of Russia’s act of aggression against Ukraine. Rashism is a variation of Nazism and Fascism and is synonymous with the term Russian Nazism.
