Permanent makeup remains a popular procedure, since it is this technology that allows you to most delicately correct facial features, hide some skin imperfections, and also transform your appearance, giving it greater expressiveness and attractiveness.

Existing permanent makeup techniques allow us to argue a little with nature - and with the talented hands of the master, visually change the shape of the eyes, the shape of the eyebrows and lips. What permanent makeup to choose for the correction conceived by the client, the specialist himself will best decide. Only a permanent makeup master will be able to most accurately select the technology for applying coloring pigments, which will achieve the maximum effect and naturalness and achieve the desired result.

There are many technologies for applying permanent makeup, and an experienced master, taking into account the peculiarities of the skin, the structure and oval of the face, the density of hairs on the eyelids or eyebrows, can make the right choice.

Options for permanent eyebrow makeup can vary from person to person and from artist to artist. This is the most popular type of permanent makeup procedure. A professional PM artist can create fully tinted natural brows from a few tiny hairs. However, there are various techniques with exceptional characteristics. Consider the most commonly used methods.

Basic Techniques

There are two main types of permanent eyebrow makeup techniques: shadow and hair .

Shadow technique (shading, spraying) is very popular among those clients who want to shape, reshape, improve the overall appearance of the eyebrows. The shadow application technique has a very recognizable effect: visually, the eyebrow looks as if the makeup was applied using one-time special tools - a pencil or shadows. Eyebrow spraying is a rather complicated method in terms of execution technique and requires high professionalism of a permanent makeup master, since it is very important to choose and maintain a thorough transition of the shade of the coloring pigment.

The hair technique of applying pigment consists in drawing a pattern in the form of hairs and repeating their natural shape and length. This technology makes it possible to enhance the density and brightness of the eyebrows. The hair technology of eyebrow tattooing will give the most realistic effect, allowing you to reliably imitate hairs. With this technique, the pigment is injected into the upper layers of the dermis (superficially). This technology allows for the possibility of partial pigmentation of skin areas, which is important in cases where it is necessary to correct traumatic defects (scars) in the eyebrow area.

Depending on the situation and experience of the PM master, there are the following derivatives of the above two basic techniques:

  • "watercolor" - gives a wider opportunity to use different shades of paint, drawing a smooth transition. Watercolor application of pigment allows you to achieve the most natural effect, preserving the naturalness of the image, but enhancing its brightness. This makeup lasts for more than a year and a half. This soft filling technique is also referred to as partial filling since clients generally don't need to fill in their entire brows. This happens when clients have gaps in certain areas, mostly due to scarring;
  • "Pero " - a combination of hair technique and shadow. However, the strokes here are made closer together to provide a shaded dimensional look. Moreover, this cosmetic procedure is not suitable for all skin types and clients should consult with their master.

Microblading is also called "eyebrow embroidery". People suffering from alopecia or other hair loss problems can restore the natural look of their eyebrows with this technique, as it results in a result similar to natural hairs. The pigments used in this technique are chosen to match the original color of the eyebrows. Immediately after the procedure, the eyebrows will have a darker color. However, over the next two weeks, they become significantly "lighter" and provide a flawless, natural look.
