The main task in creating permanent eye makeup is to correct the shape of the eyes, to make it, if necessary, more harmonious. It is necessary to select the PM eye option for the client, taking into account the proportions, type of appearance and style. How to do it right?

Having talked in one of the previous articles about the diversity of faces and how to choose the shape of the eyebrows for each of them, today we will touch on the correlation between the shape of the eyes and the types of PM of the eyebrows and eyelids.

Clients come to the permanent makeup master for several options for permanent eye makeup:

When creating an eye tattoo, the PM master must take into account the shape of the client's eyes. Let's look at a few options.

How the shape of the client's eyes affects the work of the PM master

The ideal parameter is the gap between the eyes, equal to the width of the eye itself. At a close location, this distance is correspondingly less.

To determine the type of eyes, stand in front of a mirror and mentally try to draw two vertical lines from the corners of the eyes. This will be the width. The size of the bridge of the nose is determined by measuring the distance from the inner corners of the eye sockets. Visually compare these figures. If the width of the bridge of the nose differs from the parameters of the eye contours to a smaller side, this is a clear sign of closely spaced eye.

In the case of close-set eyes, it is recommended to focus on the outer corners of the eyes - this will help to optically expand the space between the eyes, making them more expressive. The upper and lower eyeliner should be drawn along the entire eyelid, starting from a thin and neat starting point, gradually expanding towards the outer border.

To emphasize the almond shape, use eyeliner only on the upper eyelid. To give the almond shape a more rounded look, it's best to stop the line before reaching the outer corner of the eye.

Contrary to a common misconception, in the case of small eyes , you can draw both upper and lower eyeliner. An eyeliner color that is close to the color of the iris can create an enlarging effect.

Protruding or simply large eyes can be visually made smaller if you draw a clear upper line. Don't draw the bottom line.

For deep-set eyes, use eyeliner only on the upper eyelids, preferably using softer tones. Deep blacks can have the effect of making the eye smaller or even deeper.

With a lowered eyelid, use eyeliner only on the upper eyelid, gradually expanding the eyeliner from the center of the eye to the outside. You can move towards the outer border of the eye, deviating slightly from the lash line, but not more than one millimeter. Permanent makeup in the case of overhanging eyelids , contrary to the opinion of the majority, has a positive effect. A thicker top eyeliner with dark pigment will produce a particularly noticeable effect of enlarging the eyes.

When working with oriental eyes, you can introduce pigment on both the upper and lower eyelids. The upper eyeliner can be quite wide, and the lower eyeliner can be thinner.
