Unisex in everything

More and more men are becoming involved in the nail segment of cosmetic products, and we are glad! We're talking about three collections of non-gender nail polishes that celebrities launched last year.

Men follow the example of dozens of star beauties, who, one after another, launch their own beauty brands and build successful businesses on them, generating profits many times greater than their main activities, be they singers, actresses or top models.

And since men's makeup and manicure are gaining momentum at the speed of light, male celebrities are actively supporting the trend and, of course, launching and actively promoting their own brands. Interestingly, celebrities do not focus exclusively on the male audience, declaring that their products are suitable for any gender.

Pleasing, Harry Styles

For example, Briton Harry Styles launched the Pleasing brand in 2021, which already presents several cosmetic products. Known for his creative manicure options, the singer, of course, could not do without a collection of nail polishes from his own brand.

It includes four shades of varnish that will be appropriate on the nails of both women and men: iridescent transparent, pearlescent white, pearlescent black with a blue glow and glossy pearl pink. We can’t help but pay tribute to the beautiful bottles of varnishes that you just want to hold in your hands. The brand also suggests paying attention to nail stickers, which will make any design more original and stylish.

Un/Dn Laqr, Machine Gun Kelly

At the end of the year, rapper Machine Gun Kelly, and now Megan Fox's fiancé, introduced his own nail brand called Un/Dn Laqr. The first collection of varnishes turned out to be quite extensive - it includes not only colored products, but also glossy and matte topcoats, as well as varnishes with glitter.

Interestingly, Machine Gun Kelly’s debut collection was inspired by Cupid, and each of the polish shades has a symbolic name. For example, black is called Depressionist, fuchsia is called Party Favor, and green is called Mary Jane.

Crete, Lil Yachty

Rapper Lil Yachty announced the launch of his own unisex nail brand, Crete, back in May, arguing that men should no longer feel left out. He invites everyone to express their individuality with the help of their own brand of nail polishes, regardless of gender.

The debut Negatives 001 line features shades of white, light gray and black, and the bottles are designed to resemble pens. At the moment, the brand already has lilac, green, and even turquoise shades of varnish in its arsenal, so there is plenty to choose from.

We suspect that in 2022 we will see several more bright nail launches, aimed not at representatives of a specific gender, but at an original concept. Well, we look forward to it.
