Energy is the latest collection from the hands and heart of Brodie Lee Tsiknaris. Energy is the ability and strength to engage in vigorous physical activities and the feeling that you are full of physical strength and life.
Brody took the idea of energy and interpreted it in six images that blur the lines and challenge expected ideas of what hair can do. In each image, the hair radiates energy and movement, attractiveness and demonstrates the strength of a woman.
Creating incredible hair textures with strong silhouettes, deconstructed lines and bold patterns, the author was inspired by Steven Meisel's photographs of the late 80s and 90s. Playing with body shapes and dark shadows creates energy and brings the images to life.
