The result of the collaboration: MAC Selena La Reina makeup collection

MAC has announced a second collaboration with the family of '90s singer Selena Quintanilla-Perez, one of the most influential Latin artists of all time.

Like its predecessor, this Selena-themed MAC makeup collection was created in collaboration with the artist's family, especially her sister Suzette.

“Obviously this line is a celebration of Selena's legacy. This is for her fans,” Suzette tells Allure.

When we remember Selena, we see her image with red lipstick on her lips and black arrows on her eyelids. She has taken these makeup elements to another level with her style and popularity. The new MAC Selena La Reina makeup collection captures Selena's glamorous style as well as the essence of the "Queen of Tejano" music.

The collection includes four shades of cream lipsticks, a lip liner in two tones, a gloss in three shades, a liquid lipstick in three colors, a shimmering powder, an eye shadow palette and a makeup bag to store all these products.

The range includes four lipsticks in the following shades: Queen of Cumbia (matte red), Inolvidable (frosty peach), La Reina (brown) and Selena Vive (light pink nude). You can complement your lip makeup with one of two pencils: Selenaville (scarlet) or Entre A Mi Mundo (brown nude), or use lip gloss in pink, brown or white (transparent) shade.

Skinfinish universal radiant face powder will replace highlighter, shimmer and contouring and is perfect for the upcoming summer season.

The eyeshadow palette features eight matte and shimmer shades in pink, nude and bronze tones.

“The eyeshadow colors are chosen to suit every girl, no matter who you are or what you like to wear,” says Suzette.
