The Chanel fashion house began 2022 with the introduction of a completely new beauty line called No. 1 de Chanel. In addition to care products, it also includes several makeup products.

The new line of cosmetics No. 1 de Chanel consists of several facial skin care products, a perfumed spray and several makeup products. All new products are aimed at preserving the youth of the skin, its active vital activity, as well as giving a natural glow. At the center of the formulas, which the brand has been working on for more than 10 years, is red camellia.

After extensive research, it turned out that red camellia petals contain a high concentration of protocatechuic acid, which can help the skin maintain its vitality and eliminate signs of aging, and thanks to its antioxidant properties, protect against the effects of stress and provide a healthy and radiant appearance.

Makeup products for face and lips

For facial makeup, Chanel has launched two completely new products - Red Camellia Revitalizing Foundation and Red Camellia Revitalizing Lip And Cheek Balm.

The restoring foundation fluid qualitatively evens out skin tone, corrects imperfections, and also carefully cares for the skin thanks to red camellia oil and moisturizing components in the composition, giving the effect of hydration and restoration. As a result, the skin feels comfortable, looks young and radiant. The color range of the makeup product includes 20 shades, and the degree of coverage can be varied.

The creamy balm gives a rich tint and is suitable for lips and cheeks. It also nourishes and comforts the skin, while its delicate and nourishing texture blends into the skin, adding volume and enhancing brightness to lips and cheekbones. The range includes six shades from a rich red called Red Camellia to a nude pink Healthy Pink.

Eco-initiatives

All products in the new line No. 1 de Chanel consist of up to 97% natural ingredients and up to 76% from camellia derivatives. For example, foundation contains 94% ingredients of natural origin, and lip and cheek balm - 86%. All components are obtained from renewable sources without harming the environment.

Product packaging is also designed with environmental considerations in mind. The weight of the cans and bottles has been reduced by an average of minus 30% for the entire No. 1 de Chanel line due to the streamlined design. 80% of the packaging is made of glass, the use of plastic has been limited and paper leaflets have been removed, as all product information can be obtained by clicking on the QR code on the packaging. Even the ink used to write information on the bottles was organic. Moreover, the product line's closures contain recycled or bio-based materials.
