The all-over aesthetic of the Pili-Pala collection: British Hairdressing Awards 2021 finalist
A sight for sore eyes
Observing nature evokes admiration and a range of different emotions. The collection is inspired by the excited, but always gentle flight of butterflies over flowers. Let's look at the butterfly collection together!
This collection is all about butterfly aesthetics, as even the name Pili-Pala means “butterfly” in Welsh. They are present in all images, sharing their magic with them.
To create a beautiful base for the butterflies, hairstylist Shelley Lane created hairstyles using the models' natural hair and artificial wefts. All these hairstyles at first glance are very fragile and delicate, but in fact they are very durable. Only butterflies give ease of movement.
