As every year, the Pantone Color Institute has chosen a color that sets the mood and color combinations for the coming year. Very Peri is an interesting digital combination of sky blue and lavender. The creators wanted us to look into the future with greater optimism and restraint.

Color, both in life and in hairdressing, is brightness and is never a random choice. Since ancient times we have known about the importance and influence of colors on our mind as well as emotions, and with this knowledge chromotherapy was born. For centuries, colors have had strong symbolic meanings that vary across cultures.

Very Peri is created from a combination of two tones: sky blue and lavender. Two pastels convey their meaning. Blue is calming and therefore helps us fall asleep. Purple has a strong spiritual meaning as it signifies transformation. So the new color includes these values, but they are projected in a new way. This tone invites us to change our attitude with joy and optimism, but also with awareness and meditation on our future and what we do with our lives. It's about allowing for uncertainty, accepting that not everything is under our control.

We are going to find Very Peri in many details surrounding our lives, from clothes, accessories, furniture, hair accessories and hair itself. We are going to integrate this color and all the emotions it evokes in us to allow ourselves to be filled with them.

With hair we express our personality, what we resonate with and what reflects us. Thus, this color is also a new coloring trend that can be used in different ways. Very Peri should be worn sensibly, but also with highlights or selected highlights.

Hairdressers have already tried their hand at this color, so here are a few looks from completely different collections:
