Makeup with glitter: step-by-step technology with photos

Glitter experienced its first wave of fame during the disco era, which is why modern makeup artists often draw inspiration from the styles of the 1970s and 1980s. In 2020, sparkling glitter is not losing ground and regularly appears on the faces of models walking the catwalk at major fashion events.

Don’t deny yourself anything and feel free to decorate the girls’ faces with sparkles of different sizes – the more of them, the better! Mix different shades of glitter and shimmer, complement your makeup with rhinestones, stone decorations and other decorative elements. When doing makeup with glitter, you can give free rein to your own imagination!

In Elena Kharchenko's step-by-step technology, we will figure out how to create eye makeup with pink and light green glitter, what products to use, and also learn how to add shine to other areas of the face and even teeth. Go!

Step 1. Apply OIL FREE makeup base, waterproof gel base FTG3Y, to the entire periphery of the face. Light and shadow correction is performed using the CKPD contour corrector. We work on the décolleté area and ears with the pearlescent fluid tone FLV1. We moisturize our lips with GDLP balm.

Step 2. Cover the inner corner of the eye with ESCO gold cream shadows, in the outer corner and on the lower eyelid we use lilac-brown shadows ESCBM Make-Up Atelier Paris.

Step 3. Place purple pastel PL14 on the upper eyelid. We work on and enlarge the eyes with shadows T025 (black velvet) from the T02 Make-Up Atelier Paris palette.

Step 4. Fix the areas of the inner corner of the eyelid and above the eyebrow with bronze-gold loose powder with the addition of SP23 mica and shade it to the forehead, bridge of the nose and nasolacrimal groove.

Step 5. Add shine to the temples and forehead area using mother-of-pearl mica SL09 (copper) and SL10 (red copper), mother-of-pearl PP17 (yellow gold), PP45 (metallic gold), PP08 (azure) and ultra-fine mother-of-pearl PPU35 (gold) from the Make brand -Up Atelier Paris.

Step 6. For eyelashes, drawing the mucous membrane of the eyes and arrows, use wax watercolor F34 (green apple). We enhance the shine in the T-zone, cheekbones, collarbones, ears and the tick above the lip with powder with the addition of mica SP15 (melon). Apply and shade long-lasting lipstick RW13 (grape) to the inside of the lips. We accent the “Cupid's arch” area, wings of the nose, between the teeth and ears with decorative stones.
