In facial makeup in 2019, baking is incredibly popular - an American trend that involves the use of baked textures and a large amount of powder. I love baking and use it often - it allows you to achieve a Photoshop effect when your face looks flawless. This technique is especially relevant when working on set.

How to create makeup using the baking technique?

Step 1. Moisturize the skin with cream, not forgetting the area around the eyes.

Step 2. Apply primer to even out the skin texture. Choose a product based on your skin type and the effect you want to achieve. For baking makeup, primers with a moisturizing and smoothing effect without shining particles are best suited.

Step 3. Apply concealer under the eyes in the shape of inverted triangles to highlight this area and make the eyes more expressive. Then apply concealer to the cheekbones, chin and middle of the forehead. Blend with a damp sponge to achieve a silky effect. If the coating looks thick enough, that's okay.

Step 4. Apply a thin layer of foundation to those areas of the face that were not covered with concealer.

Step 5. Which powder is suitable for baking? We use exclusively loose powder in those areas that are covered with concealer. Important point: use a damp sponge for application. In this case, the coating will be truly baked, smooth and matte.

Step 6. Wait 10-15 minutes for the concealer to absorb the powder. Then we go over the face with a sponge or brush again, removing excess powder and lightly powdering the areas where foundation was applied.

Step 7. Apply highlighter to the upper parts of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the middle of the forehead and the tick above the lip.
