On September 12, at the international event TrendBlast Digital, a presentation of Trends 2021 from Ukraine for Intercoiffure Mondial took place. Finally, we can all be inspired by them!

Natasha Balabanova , founder, owner of the Beauty salon brand Natasha Balabanova, President of the international organization of elite hairdressers Intercoiffure Ukraine, Fashion coordinator region ICD Europe, Ambassador influencer Balmain Paris Hair Couture, winner of the Highest Order Order told us in more detail about the relevance of trends, their characteristics and their inherent elements de la Chevalerie Commander, is part of the ICD Mondial Artistic Team, which creates annual global trends.

We created works in four trends called: Metallic silver, Rock-mantic, Ecolife and Androgyn.

A trend is about the future, which is already here, and following trends means being a few steps ahead, being aware, applying and using them. Information is what makes us excited, explore technology, observe changes in the graphics of forms and, of course, the mystery of novelty.

In preparation for creating trends, we prepare and carefully study references with sketches compiled by agency trendsetters from Paris. Everything down to the smallest detail: clothing style, combinations of textures, filling with details, makeup, hair direction, its graphic line and length.

Each trend has its own motto, determined by the QR code recognition. During the shooting, we changed locations for a reason so that the atmosphere, background, and the full style of the trend were expressed in detail.

Why is it relevant? Because the time has come for these trends.

Rock-mantic

Fashion evolves and reinvents itself, embracing new languages and returning transformed, decade after decade.

This is what happened to the rock style. With last season we see the rebirth of punk. In 2021, Rock-mantic has a softer, more feminine story, but doesn't lose the desire to have a rock attitude.

From McQueen to Chanel through Gaultier, there has always been a love for combining boudoir chic with a borderline element of rock 'n' roll.

Clean fabrics, revival of club jackets, braid, lace, cords, belt, linen lace tops, pearls, jewelry stones. Sensuality and theatrical play. Pretentious mannerism, playing the role of romance.

The hair is structured and creative, with short bangs. In makeup, the accents must be on the eyes and lips in burgundy color.

The trend is mysterious and romantic. Feminine silhouettes invite you to the dark side.

Metallic silver

Bright, spectacular silver. For this reason, Paco Roban, Balmain, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant send sexy silver silhouettes along the catwalk. From chain mail to lamé (thin metal plate). Silver has all the qualities of gray while still being fun, playful and lively. It symbolizes glossiness.

The hair has a cool blonde with sprinkled highlights (lightened strands) of an iridescent shade. We are moving towards a futuristic bow.

Androgyn

Man? Woman? True androgyny is found in the absence of the gender binary and its associations.

When creating androgynous clothing, designers usually remove masculine physiological differences. Let's move away from the rules and regulations?

Long haircuts in a dark romantic style are combined with short (gender) non-conformist haircuts.

Ecolife

A sustainable and responsible fashion retreat. Faith in the power of nature. Fashion is a driving process that promotes change in fashion products towards greater environmental value. Designers want to bring us back to nature again.

The dream of nature and the desire to surround everything with it - from clothes and accessories. From bright floral prints on fabrics to high-tech interiors with green walls of plants inside the house.

Hairstyles have a decorated effect with the hair directed upwards, buns, and different types of texture. Short haircuts with fiery red shades and contrast of various nuances, organic leafy green.

What did you want to convey in each of the trends?

The underlying philosophy of all four trends, images that correspond to trends in clothing, hairstyles, and accessories.

Creative synergy

It was a grandiose creative synergy of all participants in the shooting. An inspired process and a wonderful result after all the edits and retouching. Music, plot movement in the created video, backstage, a lot of source material to identify today, relevance and fashion presentation for inspiration and borrowing.

By creating such projects, we understand perfectly well that we show this time through our vision , and at the same time we create our own history of trends for the world.
