Inspiration of the day: Team collection by Stevie English Hair Team
Hair like fabric
A new, atypical collection of images for the creators, which effectively combine natural and bright shades.
How do hair color and texture interact in this collection?
When creating the images, I was inspired by what I read about the color and texture of fabric. Surprisingly, the shades appear different depending on how the fabric absorbs or reflects light. I have always called hair my “fabric” and adhered to this concept in my work. Kobi Bokshish and I created texture in each hairstyle that can give the color a richer look, and playing with dual textures and flowing shapes allows the light to complement the color work.
How popular will such images be?
Recently, the demand for rich shades has been growing among clients. This means that non-traditional colors are becoming increasingly wearable. Yes, my previous collections featured very bright shades, but this year I decided to show how natural hair color harmoniously combines with non-standard ones and plays in the light.
Customers now see more than ever. They understand that different shades on the hair can play differently and, combined with the texture of the hair, create an attractive tonal variety. © Stevie English
