Individual approach: YSL Beauty presented a “smart” lipstick

Last year, the L'Oréal conglomerate introduced an unusual beauty gadget called Perso, which allows you to mix shades of lipstick or foundation. And recently it became known that the improved device will go on sale from the luxury brand YSL Beauty in 2021!

The Perso system this time is aimed exclusively at creating a variety of lipstick shades called Rouge Sur Mesure, which translates as “Custom Red”. It consists of an application that is convenient and easy to manage from a smartphone and portable device. The device is a small unit with color cartridges of YSL Velvet Cream Matte Finish matte lipstick.

Users will be able to choose a lipstick shade from four color groups: nude, red, red and pink. In this case, you will be able to try any tone from the palette provided by the brand, create your own or choose a shade based on the color of clothes, accessories and even lips. Once the desired color is selected, the device dispenses a dose of lipstick for one-time use.

True beautyholics can pre-order today on the YSL website and receive the desired device in the spring. The device will most likely go on mass sale by the end of 2021, and its cost will be $299 (two basic cartridges are included). According to the brand, each tube contains the same amount of product as one liquid lipstick.

L'Oréal plans to launch its next launch with the Perso system in the direction of personalized care and the creation of individual shades of foundation.
