Our new Beauty Battle Hair theme is Hair Extension or Designed Hair Extensions. Please tell me what it provides? How is design extensions different from regular extensions?

We settled on the name of this topic marked “with design” after analyzing our experience. Very often masters do not finish their competition work and do not finish it as required by the competition. And then in the photographs of the work we see extensions without an adaptation haircut, without styling, we observe the difference between the extensions and the natural hair of the client or model. The theme “Designed Hair Extensions” implies a complete finished look, which is why we named it that way.

That is, this is not only extensions, but also a beautiful styling, hairstyle or perfectly straightened hair. Plus, in this design the artist has the opportunity to show his creative vision.

Please tell me what participants should focus on? What should be the work for this topic?

One of the most important characteristics is, of course, the cleanliness of the work. It is also important that the structure of the hair used for extensions ideally matches the structure of the model’s natural hair, as well as color.

The slightest difference will be very noticeable, even when the hair is styled, all this will be very noticeable. Correctly selected hair, technically correct work done and correct distribution of hair in extension zones. Here are the most important criteria for working in this topic.

Are there trends in hair extensions? If so, what is relevant now?

Of course, trends in extensions exist, there are many of them, and they are updated at least once every six months. These are mainly trendy techniques and extension methods. Technologists are constantly working on new products and improvements. One of the most popular extension techniques today is the hidden extension technique, as well as small nanocapsules that are convenient to work with and easy to hide.
