Elegance and movement: textured hairstyles in the VIBE collection
By Jude McEwen

Very often, hairdressers and collection creators put energy into their work, a specific vibe that should be felt by those who see this collection.
VIBE is a powerful and positively inclusive feeling that you want to join in if you feel it.
The feeling can be either good or bad. This collection is largely inspired by Jude's (the collection's creator) work over the past twelve months developing and designing a new mentoring program for young talent that she wrote for TONI & GUY (Australia).
Jude became immersed in a continuous stream of new creative and positive minds eager to be a part of this program to learn and experiment. On her part, this included embracing change and adopting a new generation approach to the digital age with fresh vision and new perspectives. Discovering great new energy and a source of creative inspiration through a mentorship program led to the collection you see - the VIBE of this initiative.
The hair is graphic, strong, clear and elegant. Texture plays a very important role in the collection. Inspired by Alexander McQueen's technique of embroidering lace into fabric, Jude took inspiration from this technique when preparing her hair using knitting needles to weave the locks together. Creating such a skillful technique of texture that is exaggerated in relation to the hair's shape and natural movement adds a sense of playfulness and personality to each look.
