Collection idea

A contemporary men's collection, it began with the idea of translating women's hairstyles onto men's bodies, which was born backstage at a runway fashion show, hence the name "Backstage". The process of coming up with men's hairstyles is very simple: I used YouTube as one of my main search engines. I watched street videos of the 70s and 80s to see how young people dressed and behaved at that time, what haircuts were fashionable and in demand. In this way I took the general impression of the era and brought it into modern times.

To be more unique and individualized is the main ideological embodiment of the “Backstage” collection.

So using images of real people from past eras I think embodies the sense of individualism and softness of hairstyles such as 90s British pop, American prep chic, 70s rockabilly and 80s shaggy mops hairstyles.
