A truly atmospheric version of New Year's makeup! Ready to try?
How do you get into the New Year's mood? Buying gifts for loved ones, watching Home Alone or listening to Christmas jazz? This wasn’t enough for UK makeup artist Kaylie Golding, so she decided to turn her eyelashes into a Christmas tree!
“I felt really festive and I wanted my eyes to express it,” says the girl. “While I was looking for ideas, I unconsciously touched my eyelashes and looked at my newly decorated Christmas tree.”
This is how the idea of making Christmas eyelashes was born. All you need to make it happen is scissors, liquid lipstick, glitter and a lot of patience.
First, Kaylie Golding trimmed her false eyelashes and then arranged them in the shape of a Christmas tree, overlapping each other. After that, the girl began decorating.
She colored her lashes with Kolumbo Peacock Ever liquid lipstick, gave them a beautiful shine with Haus Laboratories Dynasty Glam Attack Liquid Shimmer Powder, and used red and gold Glitter Palace El Dorado and Avalon Biodegradable glitters. For contrast, the makeup artist lined the lower eyelid with a white Revolution Nude Supreme Gel Eyeliner Pencil.
According to Kaylie, the lashes weren't as heavy as they look in the photo.
“Surprisingly, I didn’t actually feel awkward, although the eyelashes did tickle my eyebrows a little,” she says.
