Beauty news: L'Oréal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld makeup collection

Two French brands have teamed up to surprise us with an original and undeniably atmospheric collaboration, resulting in the release of a luxurious makeup collection. Karl Lagerfeld himself took part in the development of beauty products, which makes it even more desirable.

“This collection of cosmetics reflects the universe of the Karl Lagerfeld brand and everything that Karl himself loved about makeup. It presents his special vision of make-up, his creative intuition and precision, as well as recognizable brand codes. We took these elements - the favorite colors, products that the legendary couturier liked, and even his sense of humor,” says Caroline Lebar, head of image and communications at Karl Lagerfeld.

The new makeup collection features different colors and textures that are suitable for creating a variety of looks, from rich evening to light daytime. The main product of the line is an eyeshadow palette consisting of nine incredible shades from neutral pink-peach and beige to rich raspberry and deep blue. The shadows have good pigmentation and provide easy application and blending.

The collection also includes ultra-black mascara . Thanks to its convenient brush and unique formula, it gives volume to eyelashes and lifts them evenly. After use, the eyelashes do not stick together, and the mascara does not fall off throughout the day.

The line was also expanded to include liquid eyeliner in two shades, a highlighter consisting of two colors, and six shades of lipstick: classic red, fuchsia, coffee, light beige, chestnut and dark purple.

The collection's advertising campaign is inspired by popular quotes from Karl Lagerfeld himself. Even the packaging is designed in the style of the great couturier - a combination of black and white colors with an inscription made in the designer’s characteristic handwriting.

The L'Oréal Paris x Karl Lagerfeld collection will be officially presented on September 27 during Paris Fashion Week.
