Barbie is 60 years old: makeup collaboration in honor of the doll’s anniversary

Barbie can without a doubt be called the most popular doll in the world. This year it celebrates its anniversary - 60 years since its creation by Ruth Handler. It was she who first proposed creating a toy in the form of an adult woman, who could become a role model for little girls.

To celebrate this important event, the cosmetics brand PÜR and Barbie decided to create a joint makeup collection , which included many radiant (including pink) beauty products.

The star product of the collection was an eyeshadow palette consisting of 12 truly girly shades: pink, blue, peach, beige and silver with a matte and sparkling finish. With its help, you can create both natural make-up options and incredibly bright, colorful and “doll-like” ones.

The line also includes: a highlighter consisting of three shades, false eyelashes, a makeup brush, lip gloss and creamy lipstick with glitter in four shades: plum, red-pink, red-red and beige. All in all, the 6 year old girl in you will be cheering with delight.

“Barbie is such an iconic figure that so many of us grew up with, so we wanted to create a truly fun and inspiring collection that furthers her mission through makeup,” said PÜR Vice President of Marketing and Innovation Tisha Thompson.

The creators of the collection specifically included completely different shades in the color palette so that you can make the most of this collection in your life. Therefore, it can be safely used when performing business makeup, evening, cocktail or neutral daytime.

The collection will go on sale on August 2 on the brand's website.
