Treatment of facial edema: possibilities of cosmetology

What is the first thing we pay attention to when we meet a stranger? Psychologists claim that we always unconsciously evaluate other people's appearance and assign peculiar labels: age, state of health, character traits, we look for similarities with ourselves and differences.

Swellings can have different origins. Before thinking about the possibilities of cosmetic correction, it is necessary to rule out the presence of diseases, the symptom of which is fluid retention and the development of general edema. The most dangerous conditions are heart and kidney failure, which are characterized by a violation of fluid removal from the body and serious violations of water and mineral metabolism.

The main reasons for the development of local edema are:

• violation of microcirculation in the dermis according to the atonic type;
• features of adipose tissue in some areas of the face; i
• ndividual features of the soft tissues of the face;
• iatrogenic causes.
