SMAS-lifting: a protocol for effective rejuvenation in one procedure

SMAS-lifting is an innovative technology based on the professional aesthetic method of HIFU skin tightening. How does it work? The device generates high-intensity focused ultrasound waves that stimulate the deep, supporting layers of the skin, without damaging the surface of the skin.

They reach the SMAS layer and perform spot heating of the skin to start the process of neocollagenesis, this is 65-75 degrees Celsius. Such islands of coagulation activate the process of cell renewal and stimulate the production of new collagen fibers. And the existing collagen fibers shorten in length, change their spatial structure, and the so-called remodeling takes place.

The HIFU technique has a double effect — immediate and prolonged. Remodeling stimulates the reduction of the volume of the SMAS layer, so the initial result can be observed immediately after the procedure, and the prolonged one is fully manifested after 1-3 months (it is during this period that cellular renewal occurs).

The technology can really compete with plastic surgery in terms of effectiveness, because it directly affects the SMAS. By adjusting the device to a certain depth of influence (from 1.5 to 16 mm), the cosmetologist can work not only with the face, but also with problem areas of the whole body — hips, stomach, arms, buttocks.
