Revitalization: current trends and new opportunities
Options for combined procedures

The need for revitalization as a basic tool in skin rejuvenation is beyond doubt. And new pharmacological developments have long expanded the traditional concept of "biorevitalization"
Today, there are several groups of revitalizing agents, including:
- multicomponent cocktails;
- preparations based on amino acids;
- preparations based on polynucleotides;
- preparations based on hyaluronic acid.
The classic revitalization technique consists of short-line injection of C-HA-based drugs into the medium-deep layers of the dermis (approximately one-third of the needle) in an amount of 0.01–0.02 ml per injection. In this case, contouring and visualization at the injection site of the drug should be completely absent.
A mandatory step at the end of the procedure is a massage, which helps to distribute the drug more evenly and minimize the risk of papules due to superficial or excessive administration of the drug. This technique is absolutely safe and quickly provides a positive result. The course of revitalization involves 3–4 procedures with an interval of 3–4 weeks.
