ICAMPS 2024: Reconstructive Surgery, Recovery and Support for Ukraine's Defenders
Profits of the congress will be directed to medicine for the AFU
International Congress of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery ICAMPS 2024 took place on November 29-30 in Kiev and united the best experts of this industry. The organizers of the event are a famous Ukrainian plastic surgeon Pavlo Denishchuk and ANACOSMA clinic.
In addition to sharing experience and new knowledge, the main goal of the event was to help the Ukrainian military: the congress profit of UAH 600,000 will be spent on medicine for the AFU.
Social mission
The first day of the congress was fully dedicated to reconstructive surgery, which returns functionality and quality of life to injured military personnel. Experience was shared by both military surgeons and civilian surgeons who perform reconstructive surgeries on Ukrainian soldiers.
Scientific breakthrough in times of war
The Congress united almost 400 participants — leading experts in reconstructive and plastic surgery.
55 speakers presented the latest advances in plastic and reconstructive surgery, creating a unique space for dialog and collaboration.
Foreign speakers, including leading specialists from the USA, UK, Germany, Italy and other countries, not only shared advanced techniques of plastic and reconstructive surgery, but also expressed solidarity with Ukraine. Their participation was yet another confirmation of the medical community's support in war conditions.
