Carrying out procedures accompanied by damage and/or violation of the integrity of the skin can lead to the reactivation of latent НVI and the development of complications that discredit both the procedure itself and the specialist who performed it.
Herpesvirus infection is one of the most important medical and social problems. In modern medicine, this infection is considered very serious and, one might say, unique, which is due to its wide distribution and an extremely wide range of clinical manifestations and complications. That is why it is necessary to use technologies in cosmetology that will one hundred percent prevent herpetic complications.
According to statistics, up to 90% of the adult population are carriers of the herpes virus, and half of them have recurrences of the disease at least once a year. It is reported that by the age of 15, 70–90% of people are already infected with at least eight clinically significant herpes viruses.
In cosmetology, it is important to make a decision about the need for antiviral preventive treatment, to make an adequate choice of the scope and time of its implementation.
