We analyze correction methods and the most effective combinations of methods
Incorrect lifestyle, presence of systemic diseases, improper care of the skin of the eyelids - all this can cause such a problem as dark circles around the eyes. How should therapy be built in this case?
Dark circles around the eyes are one of the most common aesthetic flaws. It mainly manifests itself in the area of the lower eyelid and is found in both women and men. In the "anamnesis" of patients who complain of dark circles around the eyes, three factors can be identified that influence their formation:
- pigment - melanin pigmentation (superficial or deep);
- vascular, which, in turn, can be divided into two types: an overdeveloped subcutaneous venous network and a dermal capillary network that shines through the thin skin of the eyelids;
- "shadows" under the eyes associated with the formation of the nasolacrimal furrow.
Although most often these factors are combined in patients, it is not necessary to have all three in order to talk about dark circles. Dark circles under the eyes have a polyetiological nature. They can occur primarily and increase with age or develop secondarily against the background of concomitant diseases.
