Regardless of the length of service, the methodology of work and the number of diplomas, the master must clearly understand: the correct design and preparation of the workplace, first of all. It would seem that everyone knows the truth, but, unfortunately, it is far from always feasible. Its importance can be explained in two ways:

• The nature of the conduct. Tattooing is a procedure during which a pigment is introduced under the skin through microdamages with a needle. This means that sanitary conditions should exclude all possible ways of infection, including cross ones (when the infection is unintentionally transmitted from one person to another due to the lack or insufficient disinfection of working tools).
• Art. Each master is an artist, and all clients pay attention to a beautiful picture. Even at the consultation stage, a potential client can see a couch with paint stains, dim lights and no gloves. In this case, even the most impressive works will not always be able to keep him until the procedure itself.

The cabin for the salon procedure should not only be spacious, to accommodate all the equipment, lighting, etc., but also with washing surfaces. That is, walls, floors, doors and furniture should be made of suitable material so that after wet cleaning and the influence of disinfectants they do not lose their attractive appearance. The couch, table (pedestal), as well as everything that is needed during the session, should be at arm's length, prepared in advance.

Lighting

Standard incandescent lamps are not at all friends in providing a working environment: any shades from the direction of light can affect the perception and color selection of paint in general. Therefore, the use of fluorescent lamps is strongly recommended. Many craftsmen, in addition to the main lighting, resort to movable lamps or magnifying lamps with a significant increase in the area being monitored.

Equipment and consumables

Regardless of the tattoo machine you choose, you need to purchase disposable consumables in sufficient quantities. Do not be afraid to once again demonstrate in front of the client that needles, napkins and other little things are really disposable and after use are not postponed “until better times” (even if this is not the case), but are immediately disposed of. A useful accessory in this case is a container for the disposal of needles: a proper appearance will not only inspire confidence, but also eliminate unnecessary re-contact with consumables.

The maniple of the device, the clip-cord should be out of reach for paint, lymph and other contaminants, so it is recommended to purchase auxiliary “sleeves”, packages that resemble a kind of cover. The rest of the items that the master actively works with during the procedure (bottles with paint, creams, lamps) must be wrapped in cling film. In addition, barrier protection includes hats, gloves, shoe covers, dry and wet wipes. It is very convenient to have disinfectants on hand, such as a green soap solution. For its use, both a spray battle and a spray bottle will be very convenient.

Order and nice accessories

Probably everyone knows about this, but it will not be superfluous to recall that only the tools used and no extra trifles should be on the desktop. Take care of the temperature regime: at elevated temperatures, an air conditioner will simply be needed, some models of which in our time also work for heating. Or, when it is cool in the office, the client can be covered with a gentle blanket. It will never be superfluous to install a water cooler.
Important! In the office where tattooing is carried out, a first-aid kit with a standard set of drugs is needed.
