Permanent makeup of the face: why you should not adjust the skin tone
Approach the procedure of permanent makeup must be conscious!

To get an even complexion for a long time is, perhaps, one of the most frequent wishes of patients of cosmetology clinics. To achieve good results, there are effective hardware techniques and cosmeceuticals.
However, a procedure has recently appeared that promises ... "a foundation for a year." BB Glow (BB Glow) is a procedure for camouflaging healthy skin, which naturally raises many questions: is it possible? And most importantly, is it necessary? How does BB Glow behave over time and how safe is it for the skin of the face? Let's try to figure it out.
Tattoo aesthetic imperfections
For more than 20 years of the existence of permanent makeup, this procedure has gone from “beautification” of faces (PM of eyebrows and lips) to the emergence of more complex techniques - camouflage of aesthetic flaws, such as scars, defects in the shape of lips, eyebrows and areolas.
So, what can and should be done (if necessary):
- permanent make-up of lips, eyebrows, eyelids;
- scar camouflage;
- areola color correction.
What micropigmentation experts do not recommend to correct:
- skin tone;
- dilated vessels,
- age spots ,
- blush.
BB Glow - what are the consequences?
The question arises why you should not correct the skin tone, because BB Glow promises excellent results? But not everything is so rosy and we want to dispel the myths.
- BB Glow has a temporary effect: it is not, because the pigments for this procedure include titanium oxide, which remains in the skin for life.
- The client receives a stable desired color: not a true statement, since the color of the pigment will change over time, acquiring other shades, and will require constant correction.
- During the procedure, the master has a superficial effect: in any case, this technique involves the introduction of pigment into the dermal (ie, deeper) layers of the skin. If the pigment remained in the surface layer (in the epidermis), then the effect of the procedure would disappear in 28-30 days.
- The procedure has no consequences: a false statement. For the treatment of rosacea and age spots, there are a lot of much more effective procedures, for example, a picosecond laser or phototherapy, which a patient who has such a “foundation cream” in his skin for life will never (!!!) be able to use.
The aesthetic life of each patient is long, and we cannot predict in advance which procedures will be needed in the future. Why multiply contraindications for them? Please think about this for patients and permanent makeup artists and do not practice healthy skin camouflage.
